Stephen is one of the founding partners of the Firm. He specializes in corporate and financial services law. He has handled a number of transactions across East Africa and gained a wealth of experience on the legal and regulatory framework in the region. His practice covers areas dealing with Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets, Corporate Structuring, Banking and Finance, Derivatives, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Private Equity, Foreign Investment and general business law.

CAREER
Stephen received his LL.B with honours from Makerere University in 2004 where he was a Dean's List Scholar. As an undergraduate, Stephen was Editor in Chief of Makerere Law Journal, a trailblazing student publication. He was also Speaker of Makerere Law Society. He received his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Law Development Centre, Kampala in 2005 and went on to receive his LL.M (US and Asian Business and Trade Law) from the prestigious New York University and LL.M (Corporate and Financial Services) from the highly reputable National University of Singapore.
